How We View Environmental Responsibility
We aim to continuously deepen our understanding of our environmental impact. In spring 2026, we completed our first GHG Protocol –aligned carbon accounting covering Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. These results will guide us in identifying the most meaningful ways to reduce our footprint. For example, when requested by clients, drilling operations in Scandinavia can be carried out using renewable fuels, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions.
Our drilling water recovery and recycling systems further reduce environmental impact and support our commitment to sustainable operations. We plan rig transfers together with clients and landowners to minimize disturbance to surrounding nature, and our equipment is designed to leave a minimal physical footprint.
We maintain drilling sites carefully, manage and circulate waste responsibly, and use protective measures such as absorbent mats and silage sheets to ensure we leave no trace behind.
At our Scandinavian sites, we have also implemented noise measurements with results available for clients.
